The NOVESTA (Trail Grey/Orca is based on German Army Trainer & it’s not just about fashion – this company is dedicated to manufacturing shoes according to the highest environmental standards. Novesta shoes are hand-made and finished with the signature tire marks around the outsole.
The Marathon Trail was Novesta's answer to the emerging trail movement of the late 1980s in the then Eastern bloc. For that purpose, a more absorbent and supportive sole was developed with long distance runners. The result is the very distinctive lugged sole that's still used for these kicks today, which enjoys great popularity in urban environments for its looks and comfort.
